As we all know there are so many creative stories all around the world. One of my favorites is Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. Mostly everyone has heard about this story. I love this story because it shows the background of the Italy and describes beautiful time of renaissance and middle ages. I also like how it shows that love at first sight is possible and it also how strong love towards someone could be. It teaches us an important life lesson that always wait don't make any decisions without thinking the consequences. Always think twice and have patience in life.
Well baked man story is also a very creative story. This type of stories are creative myths that helps understand why some things are the way they are. For example this story informs us how different color people were form and how coyote helped the magician (American Indian) understand how people were came to life. I also liked how oven was used as a symbol to make new color of people.
By reading this story I learned a lot about how Native Americans thinking. They used myths to answer their question and also used the symbols such as oven to make things easier to understand. We can also learn by the stories that coyotes were important part of Native Americans lives.
I so enjoyed making our creative stories with the group. It was a fun activity. The best part of this activity was listening and seeing everyone else's story. All the stories were very creative and everyone had a lot of fun doing this project. I hope we have similar kinds of activities in future as well. I enjoyed creating my own story too. It was hard to come up with a topic but after you knew what you were doing it turned out to be a good story and play.
In our story we used a villain which was a moth who discouraged the buttery saying that it can never fly, a mentor who was a bird who helped butterfly and encouraged it to fly, a trickster also the bird who gave the magic blanket to butterfly which made wings which helped the butterfly fly. The hero was the butterfly who wanted to fly and never gave up her hope and always dreamed of flying. At the end the butterfly was able to fly and live happily ever after.
